1. Introduction

Dear Mr. & Ms. Nobody,
I don't know you, and I want to remain anonymous, so I wonder why on earth I've decided to create a blog. I'm the sort of person that never kept a diary for fear of someone finding it. I've attempted it a few times, and after a few self-conscious pages (mainly describing how I'm not comfortable writing things out), I over-analyze, turn red, and throw the book in the trash. Almost-but-never-really keeping a diary can be an expensive habit. Blogging is definitely more economical.
I do a lot of driving in my free time, and I find that my mind wanders in every direction. If I stick with this blog idea, I can keep some of these thoughts instead of allowing them to float away after a few days. I never seem to write them out in Word, so I guess we (the royal "we"? :) will have to see.
